Prayer is one of the columns of the Church.

When we pray we also Praise and give thanks, humbling ourselves before His presence.

We believe that in order to receive what we pray for, it is necessary to:

Ask according to the Spirit.   Romans 8.26 (ASV) And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered;

Believe that He can do everything. Nothing is impossible for God.

Believe in Him, and that it is His will to give us what we ask for.  Mathew 7.11 (ASV) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

See in faith that, that God promised. Hebrews 11.1 (ASV) Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.

Call unto God - Jeremiah 33.3 (ASV) Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will show thee great things, and difficult, which thou knowest not.
